Maureen Sutton inspires us with her many talents and toolkit full of wonderful (and sometimes magical) healing modalities. She is an Ayurvedic Doctor; Licensed Massage Therapist; Ayurvedic Massage Therapy Trainer; Reiki Master; Meditation Instructor; Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher; Plant-Based Nutrition Counselor and Apprentice of Maestra CC de Nava, Curandera (traditional Aztec healer).
She is compassionate and caring, with highly tuned listening skills — a quality that makes every patient feel truly heard and supported on their path to wellness.

Maureen specializes in Panchakarma and the preparation of Ayurvedic herbs and oils, trained at the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurvedic Medicine in Udupi, India. She studied rasayana, the art of Rejuvenation with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD of the Himalayan Institute.
She was certified as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor by Dr. David Frawley's American Institute of Vedic Studies in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She continued advanced studies and received certification as an Ayurvedic Doctor with Dr. Bharat Vaidya at Ayurved Sadhana in Colorado.

Maureen has been practicing yoga since age 12 and is internationally certified to teach yoga from the YogaLife Foundation (recognized by the Yoga Alliance) in Dharmashala, India under the direction of Sanjeev Bhanot.
Her decades of practice bring a depth of embodied wisdom to every class and session she leads — connecting movement, breath, and stillness in ways that truly transform.

Maureen is a certified Plant-Based Nutrition counselor through Cornell University and the T. Colin Campbell Foundation, as well as a Food for Life Instructor and Educational Alliance Partner through the Physicians' Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), teaching plant-based cooking classes.
Maureen Sutton offers one-on-one nutrition guidance toward a healthy, plant-based diet that can prevent and reverse most health conditions, using the most up-to-date clinical research on nutrition, foods, herbs, and supplements.
She teaches Sanjevani's patients to read labels and prepare nutritious foods with natural and organic ingredients. She takes our patients shopping so they can learn these skills in real-time and offers individual one-on-one cooking classes for those who request this service.
Currently, Maureen is studying under Rosemary Gladstar in Western Herbal studies. Herbal consultations will be available soon which will include teas, tinctures and herbal food recipes for your health concerns. Be sure to check Maureen’s Blog for new content.

Maureen lived, worked, studied and traveled around the world in places such as Spain (where she attended the University of Barcelona studying Spanish Linguistics and the Art and Architecture of Catalonia), Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Asia and Mexico, bringing with her the wealth of life and cultural knowledge from her experiences abroad.
