The concept for House of Sanjevani® Integrative Medicine Health & Lifestyle Center was created over 18 years ago by Sunil Pai, MD, one of the first formally trained MD’s in Integrative Medicine, in collaboration with Maureen Sutton, LMT. They wanted to create a center in the “Land of Enchantment” – Albuquerque, New Mexico, in order to deliver premier Integrative healthcare services they call “Medicine Different.”

As you enter the center you will notice the delightful sounds of soothing music and aromatherapy.  Help yourself to a cup of medicinal herbal tea or mineral springs water to relax as you wait for your appointment. You will also be greeted by Princess Winnie, Sanjevani’s therapy dog, to give you additional unconditional loving support.  Sanjevani was designed from the ground up to provide each room and space a unique experience of services and treatments that are delivered.  The center is decorated with various cultural arts from around the world using pieces of original handcrafted objects from their respective cultures.  Each piece has been carefully chosen and placed to help one feel closer to culture where the traditional healing practices originated.  The Lifestyle Center section offers safe and effective custom-formulated dietary supplements, herbs, tinctures and homeopathics, as functional foods and spices. Healthy plant based snack foods and shakes are also available, along with books and movies recommended by Dr. Pai for his patients.
